What is mobile payment and what are the benefits?

• The process is simple! Just add your card to your mobile device. Service compatible with select Apple, Samsung, Android, and Windows phones and devices.
• No more struggling to find the right card in your wallet. Simply pull out your device.
• Encryption technology means your debit card information isn’t shared with merchants. Rather than your actual card number, a unique “token” number is generated for that specific transaction, and can only be used once.

How to add your card to a mobile wallet:

Apple Pay^®

• On an iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign. From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
• On an Apple Watch^TM, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay,” then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
• On an iPad®, go into Settings, open the “wallet & Apple Pay,” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
• You may be asked to verify your card by calling the bank (ask for a personal banker).

Google Pay™

• Download the Google Pay app and open
• Tap “add a new card” and follow the onscreen instructions.
• You may be asked to verify your card by calling the bank (ask for a personal banker) OR being sent a verification deposit to your account.
• To find the code, log into your UCB app and select the account associated with your debit card. Once you see the transaction, vote the Verification Code listed in the transaction description.

Samsung Pay^®

• Down the Samsung Pay app; open and sign in.
• Scan your fingerprint or iris and enter a pin to authenticate future purchases.
• Add your card by following onscreen instructions.
• You may be asked to verify your card by calling the bank (ask for a personal banker) OR being sent a verification deposit to your account.
• To find the code, log into your UCB app and select the account associated with your debit card. Once you see the transaction, vote the Verification Code listed in the transaction description.

Fitbit Pay™

• Available on Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa (special editions). Use the Fitbit app to add your UCB debit card.
